I now have a range of handcrafted wood and crystal healing wands made exclusively for the Leopards Lair. I felt there was a need for Australian made wands for Australian Light Workers using the woods from our own beautiful and unique gum trees. The eucalyptus oil which permeates our gum trees is a powerful natural antiseptic and healing oil, making it the perfect wood for healing and balancing work.
All woods used are semi-'green' meaning the trees living energy is retained by your wand. Each branch presented itself and did ask to be reborn into the stunning healing tools you see here. Likewise, the crystals chose the woods to be paired with and also chose their own combinations for each wand. Most of the wands have been adorned with beautiful bird feathers. I find bird energy to be extremely uplifting. The element of freedom that is attached to birds and their ability to soar through the skies is something I think we all strive for. All feathers have been found on my numerous walks into the bush and while on camping trips into the middle of Australia, and have fallen from the birds due to the natural moulting process. The feather adornment can easily be removed should you wish to use your wand without the feathers.
The woods have been oiled with natural mineral oil to help retain the suppleness of young wood and prevent splitting. This is a process you can continue yourself at home if you choose. Just rub on with a soft cloth when you feel the wand is drying out, let sit for a day and then polish with another soft cloth to remove the oily feel. The oil deepens the colour of the wood, so it will lighten when becoming dry.
Customers outside of Australia please note, most countries prohibit the import of items which have untreated plant or bird matter attached. These wands have both, so please make a phone call to your local customs for full details if you are considering purchasing. I believe, if declared, items such as these can be imported and are then subject to quarantine, but this is a lengthy process which involves added costs through your customs branch.
