The beautiful crystalline formations which develop in agate geodes are very unique and different in each. These pieces are sliced from a whole geode to reveal the detailed patterning within. Often dyed to produce spectacular, vivid colours which make gorgeous decorator pieces.
In metaphysical terms, agates have slower vibrational frequencies than some other stones, but this is not considered a defect. Rather they are regarded as stabilizing and strengthening influences.
